Who we are
teyu is a Chinese tea discovery webapp at teyu.io. This page explains, plainly, what we collect and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Your quiz answers and result — stored only in your own browser (localStorage). They never leave your device unless you sign in.
- Anonymous usage analytics — we use PostHog and Vercel Analytics to understand which pages and teas people visit, and where they drop off in the quiz. This data is aggregated and not tied to your identity unless you sign in.
- Google account info — if you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile image to create your profile.
What we don't do
We do not sell your data. We do not run third-party advertising trackers. We do not share your personal information with anyone outside the analytics providers named above.
Cookies
PostHog uses cookies to measure usage. If your browser sends a “Do Not Track” signal, you can use it to opt out of analytics. Signing in also uses a session cookie to keep you logged in.
